You can totally make poached eggs in the air fryer — it’s surprisingly easy and comes out beautifully once you get the hang of it. Perfect for when you want that runny yolk goodness without the hassle of boiling water. 🍳✨

🥚 Air Fryer Poached Eggs

🛒 You’ll Need:

  • 1 egg (or more, depending on your air fryer space)

  • Cooking spray or oil

  • Ramekins or silicone muffin cups

  • 1–2 tablespoons of hot water (per ramekin)

  • Salt & pepper (optional)

⚙️ Instructions:

  1. Prep Your Ramekins:

    • Lightly grease the inside of each ramekin or silicone cup with cooking spray or a dab of oil.

    • Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of hot water to each ramekin.

  2. Crack the Egg:

    • Gently crack one egg into each prepared ramekin, over the water.

  3. Air Fry:

    • Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C) for 2–3 minutes.

    • Place the ramekins carefully in the air fryer basket.

    • Cook for 5–6 minutes for soft poached eggs (runny yolk), or 7–8 minutes for firmer whites and medium yolk.

  4. Remove & Serve:

    • Carefully lift the ramekins out with tongs or oven mitts (they’ll be hot!).

    • Use a spoon to gently lift the egg out.

    • Season with salt, pepper, herbs — or serve over toast, avo, or on a breakfast bowl.

🔁 Tips & Tricks:

  • Don’t skip the water — it’s key to creating that gentle poaching effect in the air fryer.

  • Every air fryer model is a little different, so test with one egg first to find your perfect timing.

  • For easier removal, run a butter knife gently around the edge of the egg after cooking.
